Children's Things

Everything in this picture is pretty much related to children. My inspiration for the petitpoint on the 1/12th scale, child size furniture, as well as the companion rugs, came from sources such as Winnie the Pooh, Beatrix Potter and other popular children's books. Beatrix Potter and Jill Barklem's Brambley Hedge books also inspired the creation of several domes and vitrines (two of which were Nutshell News covers) now residing in private collections. Few can resist these charming little creatures!
