Sense of Hearing Tapestry |
 This pattern is from a 15th Century tapestry hanging in the Cluny Museum in Paris. There are five such tapestries, each depicting one of the five senses. This is a large piece when finished and perfect for adding warmth, color and cheerfulness to those drab and cold castle walls.
If you care, you can see these patterns on the walls of Harry Potter's Hogwart's School. These pieces are also very impressive when mounted in a picture or shadow box frame for your real house. |

Ladies and Castle Tapestry |
 Tapestries of this shape were called Chimney Pieces and were hung over a fireplace mantel or over a buffet. It is also suitable for a long bench in front of a fireplace, at the end of a bed or as a piano bench. This hanging depicts two ladies beside a stream with a castle in the background. One is playing the lute and the other doing her needlework. The colors are primarily green, blue, coral/pink, and tan. |
