About Bobbie
I have been creating needlepoint and petit point designs for over 40 years. I first designed for a store on Madison Avenue in New York City and then in the late 1970s, I became enamored with petit point after attending my first miniature show and have never returned to full sized designing or stitching since.
Ultimately, in 1980, a business was launched specializing in 1/12th scale, 18th Century reproduction furniture with petit point worked on 40 to 72 count silk gauze. In 2000, this business, microStitchery.com, was created to sell kits of my designs.
In 1987 I was made a Fellow of The International Guild of Miniature Artisans (IGMA) and have served on both the Artisan and Fellow Selection Committees. My work has been displayed in museums such as The Smithsonian in Washington, DC; Tiffany's Christmas windows in New York City and IGMA's first Elements of Style exhibit.
My pieces, articles and charts have also appeared in books, magazines and newspapers both in this country and overseas.

Appearances in Print contains a
