Janet Bailey painted this beautiful collection of cupboards and armoires for Bobbie, largely from pictures that she sent to her of full-size pieces which Bobbie saw in magazines.
The exquisite painting on top of the middle armoire is a reproduction, by Paul Saltarelli, of an 18th century painting, Girl with a Basket of Flowers. Bobbie had a lot of cupboards and hutches … anything with shelves. |
