How to Redeem Your Gift Certificate
Please keep in mind that a gift certificate must be redeemed in one shopping trip and that its value is in Canadian Dollars.
Before redeeming a gift certificate, you need to add an item to the shopping cart. Once that has been done, you are automatically taken to the View Cart page of the Shopping Cart. Your View Cart page would look something like this: |

Before you continue to make any additional purchase(s) or click the GO TO PAYMENTS button, it is necessary…
To  select from the drop down box, the region your item(s) will be shipped to, then , for  type in your gift certificate number exactly as it appears in the email which was sent to you.
A gift certificate number could look similar to this: EDC090808105312.
It contains three random upper case letters and twelve numbers. The first two numbers designate the year the certificate was issued in, the second two numbers designate the month the certificate was issued in and the next two numbers designate the day the certificate was issued on. The following six numbers are the remaining gift certificate registration numbers. Your gift certificate is valid up until one year from the date of issue. It will expire following that date. Hence, you must use the gift certificate within a year of receiving it and in one shopping trip only.

Once you have completed the above two steps, click on the RECALCULATE button. The cost of shipping will be calculated and added to your total and the value of your gift certificate will be deducted from your total. If your gift certificate was for $175.00, your View Cart page would then look similar to this:
Where as letter  displays the cost of shipping, letter  the value of your gift certificate deducted from your purchase(s) thus far, and letter  shows how much you have left to spend. This is not a credit for future shopping trips. Rather, the -144.00 is the amount remaining on your gift certificate. Remember, you must redeem the entire value of a gift certificate in one shopping trip.
Click on the CONTINUE SHOPPING button and continue to purchase items which exceed the amount remaining on your gift certificate.
If you had clicked on the GO TO PAYMENTS button, you would receive the message, Sorry, you can only use a gift voucher for part payment of an order. Click on the CONTINUE SHOPPING button and enjoy your gift certificate!
When you are in the View Cart page of the Shopping Cart feature, you will only be able to click on the GO TO PAYMENTS button when you see the numbers on the right hand side of To Pay are no longer preceded by a negative sign.
